In a self-involved moment, was so sure I saw a little *llama* on that table there!! Was sooo gonna sue over 'likeness rights.' Now... not so much. But Shadowfax or esp. Felarof should!! Or Glorry...
Another insane thought-- Waterwatcher, monacle lost, suing over the other 'sea creature' there... :twinkle! inciting trouble for da franchise:
ok, now i gotta ask. i was hoping to see an answer without asking, but it aint happening. first, i preface, i have niether seen the movie, nor any other medium (comics?) of MIB. i assume agent elle is a character therein, yes/no? so the question is: what draws you to this character? did you play her in the movie? or is there an aspect of the character you identify with? do tell! :)

Oui. Linda Fiorentino in the first movie, cursorily written out in the second (rumor has it that she and Tommy Lee Jones do not Play Well Together). Cartoon version had the voice of Jennifer Lien, until she didn't anymore.

Why yes! Yes, I did!
or is there an aspect of the character you identify with? do tell! :)
Oh, golly. Yeah, she's been hanging around here a lot lately, mainly because the release of MIIB revived my unholy love for MIB in all its forms. Aside from enjoying the first movie just as itself, I've always been a huge modern folklore fan. The American UFO subculture both fascinates and repels me (I've been up close and personal with it, and...my gosh!). There's also the setting (if you've ever been to New York, you know it's got aliens, including yourself if you're just visiting), and the whole mid-60s design thing.
I dig Cartoon Elle's classic design - she's very simple, with the black suit and the blonde bob. She's intelligent and has a nifty deadpan delivery. And, let's face it, she's the only female who gets any screen time.
I just got the Elle Toon Suit this week, however. Beorn has vowed to remain a cartoon all the time, and one should support one's close imaginary friends - and Elle was the only animated icon I have loaded. (I could use the Ms Marvel icon, but that'd bring on a whole mess of character stuff that I don't want to deal with - a flying, super-powered alcoholic semi-amnesiac is more than the MESPT should have to deal with. Also, she wears heels.)
Ahahahaha swans, horses and SPORKS!
