She found a station that plays 80s pop. Spandau Ballet. The Pretenders. I am filled up with big squishy luuuuuuuuuuuv!

Except every time I hear "Special," I flash back to the horror of poor Faye Grant having to sing it to Woodstock stock footage on Greatest American Hero. "Ladies and gentlemen....LA FREEWAY!!!!"

we have one here in town too here (http://www.wgrl.com/) I don't know if they have live streaming or not.

I was SO thrilled when they came to town.

Is this Deb Sabrebabe? I haven't heard from her in AGES......has anyone?

I am so relieved to read that I was not the only one who flashed on "It's Raining Men."

I have DMX on my cable at home. All 80s, all the time. It's wonderful.

I have a drawer full of CDs, but it's a pain to use the headphones when the phone rings off the hook.

Just to be the annoying little poseur that I am, the song is called "Brass in Pocket". ;) The *early* Pretenders rock. Chrissie Hynde used to be one of my role models! I wish our local 80s station was that cool though. They just seem to play Styx and Billy Joel and Bon Jovi. BLEAH!
