Unless Michael Crichton is lying to me, frogs cannot see objects unless they are moving.

This may explain why the frog would not move once I stopped the car.

I could be wrong, but I think he retracted that in the second book. And I think it was just T-rexes, not frogs. Maybe it was a T-rex disguised as a frog?

Did you drive around the frog? Where was he at? I'm totally up for a game of catch and release with one of those lovely bastards!

I have frogs in my pond. Or I did. They went away.

No, no, I'm sure French people can see you even when you're not moving.

MICHAEL CRICHTON WOULD NEVER LIE TO ME!!! Uh, I don't know, he may have done. The bit I read last night said it was an amphibian thing.

There is a world-wide frog decline.

That's odd. Our tour guide implied that she could only see Americans because we all constantly chew gum. Perhaps they can detect UKaloids by the odor of all that beer? ::runs away::

I drove around him. At least I hope I did. I just don't understand why he was crossing the road rather than following the stream underneath.

Perhaps there were compys staking out the drainpipe.

Are we comfortably unconscious yet?

Repeat after me: Fi is Irish. She might live in the UK and like living in the UK and be engaged to an Englishman, but she is still, and will always be, Irish.

With a harp on the passport and everything.

Got that?

*kills Ann repeatedly*

*jumps up and down on corpse*

*drives over corpse until it's reduced to a little puddle of liquid*

*sprinkles sand over liquid so no-one slips and hurts themselves*

Nothing to see here, people, move on now...

It's been 7 or 8 years since I last read Jurassic Park, so you're probably right. But I think some guy in the second book got eaten because he thought a T-rex wouldn't see him if he stood still. So don't blame me if you get eaten by frogs.

What a wicked thought!

Should I go Kinkos or QFC?

I suppose it depends on the quality of your particular local franchises.

There's nothing sadder than a bad Kinkos.
