Unless Michael Crichton is lying to me, frogs cannot see objects unless they are moving.

This may explain why the frog would not move once I stopped the car.

I could be wrong, but I think he retracted that in the second book. And I think it was just T-rexes, not frogs. Maybe it was a T-rex disguised as a frog?

It's been 7 or 8 years since I last read Jurassic Park, so you're probably right. But I think some guy in the second book got eaten because he thought a T-rex wouldn't see him if he stood still. So don't blame me if you get eaten by frogs.
