Not much going on, really. Have lost some weight and built up some strength so that I no longer disgust myself. Got a new reading lamp, much brighter and with a pointy high beam, so that when I read at night, surrounded by bemused plushies, it's like being at sleepaway camp. Bought socks. Been making stuff, but nothing finished to show you. Trimmed trees. Put the patio furniture in the shed. Am in epic battle with Office Depot concerning defective glue sticks.

Oddly content.

How'd you lose weight and build up strength?

Need to do that. Please tell me it was through some kind of magic.

Sigh.

Not entirely sure. Ate a bit less crap. Walked a bit more. Napped a (tiny) bit less. Take the stairs a lot. Minor warm-up stretch in the morning does wonders for making you able to do more the rest of the day. I am by no means tiny, but I can retrieve dropped objects without embarassment.

Still, no one is more surprised than I am.

no more elevators for me.

Sometimes I think just cutting my stomach off would help.

I mean, if they can split Siamese Twins, surely they can fix me up!

Office Despot is evil.

I have many bemused plushies myself. You should see our moose. He likes jazz and Edith Piaf.

It's very disappointing to turn the thing on a brand-new glue stick and NOTHING HAPPENS. "Are you sure you got it here?" "It's YOUR BRAND!"

My plushie chameleon likes to sing "O Holy Night."

Glue sticks SHOULD be simple and joyful...like the sounds of carolling chameleons, only different. But no.
