I have seen my first muffler man*, in the wild. I've seen them in art magazines and shows like Egg, as examples of American folk art, but never one earning its living shilling in front of a garage. (It's at approximately 25th and Randolph, by the paintball outfitters, if you feel the need to look for it.)

*Actually it's got long yellow 'hair,' so it could be a muffler woman, or a muffler redneck.
