"And the January issue of Playboy has a startling article by the sex therapist Marty Klein on the sexual information being handed out by Oprah and her new Mini-Me (figuratively if not literally) Dr. Phil -- or as Letterman calls him, "the quack." Klein gives examples of Winfrey and Dr. Phil telling couples whose sex life has dried up that reticent partners are selfish if they don't force themselves to have sex with their spouses, and telling their viewers that women don't look at porn and that men who do -- or who have any sexual thoughts not involving their spouse -- are being unfaithful (which perhaps means that, to keep in line with her beliefs, Oprah should run a disclaimer before her show telling chubby chasers to switch the channel)."

This COULD go on, but I think I'll let it die a peaceful little death, lest we go on about how "Dude, we're speaking Japanese!" "Sweet!" ;p

One thing I completely agree with my sister about is "Dr" Phil. The man should not have a license. Did you know her got censured by the APA? Because he broke ump-teen rules about doctor patient relationships by hiring one of his patients - WHILE she was still in therapy. And he did it because her family wanted him to keep a close watch on her and her family should NOT have any say in her therapy.

The man still refuses to accept that anything he did was wrong. The man is utterly full of himself. I say he needs to get stuffed.

He quit private practice because, basically, he couldn't stand dealing with the patients on a long-term basis. Much more fun to have strangers in for five minutes and verbally abuse them.

The National Inquirer, my paper of note *cough*, says that Dr. Phil is a demon to work for, has his producers write all his so-called wit, browbeats his staff, and basically talks through a hole in his ass.

I can't wait until he starts screaming high-pitched invective on camera as his head spins and turns green.
