I'm not sure if this is cute, cloying, or both (and no, I'm not fishing for validation), but I've always liked this outfit, so what the hell.

When I was in high school, I drove a Volkswagen Beetle exactly that color...

I've noticed that insecty green seems to be a 'hot' car color again. The only green I hate is that chocolate dinner mint green they tried out about five years ago, but it seems to have mercifully vanished.

You mean, that green that used to be called 'sea green' in the Crayola box?

No. It's hard to explain unless you've got the car in front of you, but it's a sorta glazed finish. It looks like those spun-sugar green dinner mints that have the chocolate filling inside. It's a pale green with just a teeny hint of the choccy brown underneath. (It's the same sort of hard candy as Christmas ribbon candy.)

Like the green ones in this?

When the cars faded they kinda had that color...

Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnot so much. That guy's white choccy or almond bark or something colored green (looks good, though). The ones I mean are light green spun-sugar hard candy with a gross chocolate center, and usually packed in little wrappers like the ones on Zotz.

We'll probably see one at Disney and I'll show you there.

How do you get people so they look both childlike and innocent, yet sexy at the same time? I've never seen anyone draw this style. You're soooo good at this.

I...I dunno. I've always liked animation and anime and old-fashioned illustration, and I think it sorta...pureed somewhere in my brain.

Plus it depends on the character. I wouldn't do Gambit that way (Nightcrawler maybe...). But Rogue around this time was at most 17 years old and had been through eight kinds of wringers - she's the Duchess of Shell-Shock.

Ann, your brain is the Goddess of Blenders.

Just don't let that Kirby woman get hold of it when she wants a floofy drink...

NNNnnnnnnnnnoooooooooooo!!!!!!!

BEGONE, foul Beasties from Beelzebub's Bedamned Bestiary!!!!

Ann, terribly sorry, I hope you don't *mind* if I exorcise your shoes before we go to Disney...you could borrow my black ones, keep your toes all nice and toasty. I'm sure the extra couple of inches will be no trouble at all...

Hmm...Disney, or get to exorcise shoes AND meet cute Angel of Death...

...AOD/noshoes, or Disney...

hmm...

I'll have to think about it and get back to you. Difficult choice.

Maybe we could just redeem your shoes with a magic marker?

Or maybe I can work Disney AND the AOD/shoe exorcism thingy...it's all in the timing...

You might want to be very careful to avoid having me sit behind you on any ride involving height and/or speed. Just a thought.

I resent the implication that I go around stealing blenders! How dare you!

Jill, you may get me stoned off my nut on floofy drinks any time you like. If I'm not driving. And you may have free use of my blender.
