Dude! I'm soooo happy someone else noticed Elvis on Letterman! Unfortunately I live in a land of philistines who all gaze at me in baffled boredom whenever I mention Elvis, or say something inane like, "You like Elvis? But he's, like, dead and stuff." Or my favorite: "Elvis's last name is PRESLEY, not COSTELLO." I actually almost got in an argument with someone over that, but then realized it wasn't worth it.
So high-five on the Elvis worship! I see far too little of it.
ps - did you catch him and the attractions on the Hall of Fame inductions? Just too fantabulous for words...
