Please, please ask yourself these 20 questions:

1. Do you lose time from classes or work due to watching Law and Order?
2. Do you watch Law and Order because you are uncomfortable in social situations?
3. Do you watch Law and Order to build up your self confidence?
4. Is watching Law and Order affecting your relationships with friends?
5. Do you watch Law and Order alone?
6. Do you watch Law and Order to escape from studies, work, or home worries?
7. Do you feel guilty or depressed after watching Law and Order? (Note: feeling guilty, depressed, or even suicidal after watching Law and Order: Special Victims Unit is perfectly normal and does not count towards your score.)
8. Does it bother you if someone says that maybe you watch too much Law and Order?
9. Have you turned down a Friday night out in order to watch Law and Order: Special Victims Unit?
10. Do you get along better with other people when you watch Law and Order?
11. Do you get into financial troubles over buying Law and Order-related DVDs, or blank video tapes to record Law and Order?
12. Do you feel more important when you watch Law and Order?
13. Have you lost friends since you started watching Law and Order?
14. Do you watch Law and Order more than most of your friends?
15. Have you started hanging around with a crowd that watches Law and Order more than your old friends?
16. Have you watched Law and Order until you just couldn't watch Law and Order any more?
17. Have you ever had a complete loss of memory from watching Law and Order?
18. Have you ever been to a hospital or been arrested due to Law and Order-influenced behavior?
19. Do you tune out any studies or lectures about watching Law and Order?
20. Do you think you have a problem with watching Law and Order?

Answering 'yes' to any of these questions may indicate that you have a problem with Law and Order, and need help.

Do you sigh and say, "Oh, Adam! We miss you!" during certain banking commercials?

Does it count as "Watching Law and Order alone" if you watch part of it after West Wing, or Dead Zone, or whatever show it is that it follows, before realizing it is LAW AND ORDER and turning the TV off?

Not being someone who's interested in legal dramas, I can safely say that I, Tiger, am not a viewer (casual, regular or obsessed) of Law and Order.

I however, did live with someone who *was* a regular L&O viewer.

Does that make me tainted still?

And has anyone else noted that the initals L&O could stand for "Low and Oral"? I am weird tonight...

21. Have you ever thought it would be a real corker to synch Galaxy Rangers or Beauty and the Beast footage to any given post season 2 episode dialogue?
22. Do you get all thrilled when the forces of digital cable align correctly enough to let you watch Pete and Pete first, then follow it up with the episode where Big Pete is the killer?

(Yes, I know this is five days late. I just got back from a weekend in Vegas for a wedding.)

Yeah, there's an episode where Big Pete's the killer. Whoops, just spoiled it for you. Anyway, it's the episode called "Thrill." Delivery boy is killed at random by Big Pete and one of his friends. It's from the Ben Bratt era, forget who the ADA is on it.

It's not that I necessarily go looking for Law and Order... I just turn on the TV and it always seems to be on so I watch!

Cannot resist. I am so weak.
