Oh, an idea! In film version, the 3 harpooners could be played by the 3 Tenors! Because there are three of them, and it would be, er, very appropriate, therefore? Ok, maybe not...
Y'know...some people would say that was a really stupid idea. But those people have not considered how wonderful it would be to see a Tenor with filed teeth and his face covered in blackwork tattoos.
