Watched Noir 5 and 6. This is the best thing ever.

Also watched the first episode of Angel, now in syndication. Doyle is...really fucking annoying.

Mmmm, Noir. I should rewatch because I don't remember stuff. But...there's too much other stuff to watch.

And read.

*hides in shame for not reading more Moby*

*pets* Noir loves you.

I dumped my Penguin Moby in favor of our Cheap Uniform Edition of the Classics version. The illustrations are horrible, but it's easier to read and, more importantly, lift.

But at least you know he dies. Sort of like someone in Moby Dick.

Well, everyone in Moby Dick. And it does make it easier to tolerate him. At least Cordy's not a zombie now.

The box set is Volume 1, a box for the whole series, and a t-shirt. Or you can just buy Volume 1 alone. So it depends on how you feel about boxes and t-shirts, really.

:nodsnods:

My best one so far is one for Boogiepop Phantom, hacked out of a software manual slipcase that is the exact right size for four DVDs. It's got a fabric outside that's just made for acrylic and colored pencil. The only difficult bit is cutting it down to size without losing a thumb.

What's annoying is when they sell just the box. For, like, $30. The box!

Aye. Cowboy Bebop did that. At one point you could get the 6 DVDs individually. The box individually. Or the box with the 6 DVDs and a soundtrack CD.

Escaflowne might have done that, too, but I can't remember.

A nice slipcase is handy and looks sharp, but jeez.

Yay!

Volume 6 still hasn't arrived for me yet, but I expect it this week.

The Noir artbook should be coming this week as well.

I'm high. I meant 4 and 5. I'm planning on getting 6 tomorrow, because I have the self-control of a toddler.

Mind, this isn't nearly as fun as watching it over your shoulder on the notebook, but I cope.

The newest NewType has an ad in it with Mireille and Kirika in Santa outfits. Cute!

I like the guy OK, but what is the justification for that faux Irish accent? Americans can get migraines and hallucinations too, y'know.

I suppose it's his way of giving migraines in return.

*purrs*

yeah, i always held out a faint glimmer of hope that maybe one day Glenn Quinn would get his act together again and make some kind of reappearance. alas, never to be...

i can't wait to watch those first eps again, though. it's been so very very long. :)

It was a bit of a shock after hearing for years about The Fabness that was Doyle. Still, maybe he'll grow on me before he croaks.

Ann, you know my adoration for you is unending but...DOYLE! Was so fab! And hot! And funny! And I, uh, kind of stopped watching Angel after the first season because I was so annoyed that he was gone! And I always hoped Glenn Quinn would come back to the show!

And then he died.

But I still love Doyle.

I love Noir. I watched an episode before and immediately became hooked, but I'm seriously too busy to watch it right now. *sulks* The tiny dark-haired girl (I forget her name, I saw the episode ages ago) is my favorite. :D

Kirika. ^_^ The only thing that could make me like her more would be if she had a battle cry along the lines of, "I LIKE PUPPIES!"
