"Last 5 personal (non food/household) items you purchased...and why."

Latest volumes of Fake and Chobits manga. Trapped at mall Wednesday night while Mom got a perm, needed something to read, they were just out.

Universal Islands of Adventure Triceratops Encounter T-Shirt, size large. 1 cent +shipping, eBay auction. Every time I go to Universal, the goddamn Triceratops Encounter is closed. This needed commemorating. Plus, cheap t-shirt.

First Witch Hunter Robin DVD, released Tuesday.

Deery Lou head-shaped coin purse, because it's fucking terrifying. Will remove zipper, use in collage or as sew-on patch.

Mmmm, Fake. This last one was kind of...tame.

My WHR still hasn't arrived with it's billion and one goodies. *waits patiently* It's funny that I don't actually watch the anime (since I've already seen it), I just want the crap.

Didja watch? What didja think?

Only halfway through Fake. [livejournal.com profile] nitasee and I are trying to figure out just what sort of crack the creator is smoking. Nita says the cheap, cheap crack.

Haven't watched Robin yet, because I keep coming home and curling up in a fetal ball. This weekend, I hope. I got the crapless version, 'cause most of it's stuff I don't want (what in hell am I gonna do with a shot glass?), but it still came with a keen mini-cel, which was immediately put into a collage. This weekend, I hope.

I agree with Nita.

Crapless is easier on your wallet. Unfortunately, I'm addicted to crap. At least it doesn't smell. Yet.

Hope you enjoy it. And if you continue. Do not. Under any circumstances. Watch episode 15 without having episodes beyond that one at your fingertips.

Oh, dude, I'm a totally a friend of the crap, just not the particular crap that came with the box. I may watch eBay and see if any of the little cels come on auction, though.

I have high hopes for liking the show. I will try to remember the Episode 15 thing. I have a mind like a seive, however, so don't hesitate to remind me when the time comes.

I got my box of crap. It came with 2 cels! I thought it was only 1. They rock. I'm going to have to put them on some nice backing and frame it or something.

The shot glass, sorry, mini beverage glass, confuses me. It would have been more appropriate to have included a different piece of glassware (you'll see).

But I'm happy with the soundtrack, too. Yei!

If you see any of the cels on eBay, let me know. I'd love to collect more if they have them. :)

Deery Lou the cheerful fawn!

Did you know that Deery Lou has a sister?

The other deer is her sister? I didn't quite want to guess.

I first saw her at Epcot last Halloween, in Fake Japan. She scared the crap out of me, with that whole I WILL DEVOUR YOUR SOUL thing she's got going on.

Is Queenie Lou the swan as scary? I've only seen her on bad eBay scans, so I can't tell.

Queenie Lou the happy swan is majestic and beautiful, so yes, just as scary.

I can WALK to buy Deery Lou and Queeny Lou accessories. Ah, the sophistication of urban life.

Deery Lou, the first of the Forest Junkies. And this time in pink, no less.

I'm thinking the Sanrio designers were running out of the good crack or changed suppliers when they started this line. There's also Queenie Lou, Beary Lou (bear), and I totally can't remember what the rabbit is called. (Skippy Lou?) They all have the drugged out eyes though.
