Tonight's CSI was set in a Las Vegas Furry convention.

Surprisingly, they refrained from using "spooge." They showed spooge, but chose a more clinical term. Weenies.

But that does terribly annoy me. >.<

I swear, not all people who draw furry art are crazy yiffy spoogers.

We are so discriminated against liekomg.

I laughed so very, very hard. Luckily I didn't have to explain to my mom how I knew what furries are, since she didn't watch it. She usually does.

Oohh! So THAT's what my mom was going on about. I asked how her show went and she started talking about the raccoon guy and wolf man... I thought she might have accidentally watched the wrong show.

Last night's episode of CSI concerned the death of a man in a raccoon costume. He was attending a Furry convention, and was one of those who chooses to really, really involve himself with his...fellow mammals.

My mom called me up in the middle of it and insisted on describing what was going on to me. "And there's this man dressed up like a raccoon... I think it involves sex somehow. Who the hell thinks up these things?! I don't like this episode at all!! Have you ever heard of anything so sick?!"

Me: "Have I heard of anything....? No, of course not. No. Nuh-uh. Totally unfamiliar, completely unaware. I think 'yiff' is the Japanese word for 'cute', though."

Actually, "kawaii" is the Japanese word for "cute." :) "Yiff" is supposedly the sound that a fox makes when it barks.

But... Ann Larimer told me that "lol" is the Japanese word for "cute"!

Ann, you fibbed. Image
