Jan. 16th, 2004 12:28 pmI have received another copy of The Tenant of Wildfell Hall. This one appears to actually contain the text of The Tenant of Wildfell Hall, though I will not be surprised if, halfway through, it turns into Doctor Who and the Devil Goblins from Neptune or The Tin Drum. Such is the never-ending cavalcade of whimsy that is my life.
Doctor Who vs the Tin Drum

Yes, and you rule and thank you and it's the bestest stuff ever and is one of the few bits of Xmas that didn't make me want to kill myself. I have a story about Mom and the lain dolly, but it must wait until I am conasc...conscious. I made a picture with the watercolor crayons. Last night I ate the Pocky.

Date: 2004-01-21 12:12 pm (UTC)Um, well I think I may be thinking of "Northange Abbey". Jane Austen. Certainly not someone to be confused with any of the Bronte sisters. "Northange Abbey" was a parody of gothic novels.
Glad you liked the stuff. I loved the Lain dolly in full coffee-house folk-singer mode. Gave me the giggles.
I was starting to get worried that maybe the post offal had gone in full terrorist orange alert mode and did something with the box. Then I started getting worried that something had happened to you - anything from family issues/illness to major depression. I don't hear from you, I get worried. Then again, I have it on good authority (Bette and Co.) that most of December I was a pretty damn crabby piece of work.
