I remember many episodes of Captain Kangaroo. I remember Bunny Rabbit, Mr. Moose, the season they changed the set, the first broadcast in color, Tom Terrific, Mr. Greenjeans (who really did wear green, to my complete satisfaction), the "mysterious" piper, the pingpong balls, wondering just where that stairway went, and all those mysteries of childhood.

A legend has gone. I pay him tribute.
