I would very much like to write an entry that doesn't consist entirely of OMG snow death doom wrist slitty angst angst angst, but cannot. I mean that quite literally. I wrote one yesterday, and as I was about to click on 'Update Journal,' the electricity to our building was momentarily cut due to a massive accumulation of bird shit on a power cable.

So NO ENTRY FOR YOU!

Wandered in from [livejournal.com profile] metaquotes...Things must be really strange where you live. Me, we just have steadily brightening and dimming lights for unexplained reasons while small areas of downtown Portland spontaneously explode. :)

Lucky. We have to make our own explosions. (I recommend dropping a couple of Mentos into a litre bottle of Diet Doctor Pepper.)

Umm...dude. I wandered in from [livejournal.com profile] metaquotes and I do believe we go to the same school. Unless there has been a proliferation of bird shit accumulating on power cables lately.

I graduated college in 1984, so we probably don't. I'm wearing a sweatshirt with my elementary school's mascot on it today, if that helps.

Ha! Just thought it was amusing to randomly find another Nebraskan here. Strange way of doing it.

Wandered in from [livejournal.com profile] metaquotes wanting to share the moment in which I tried to post a lengthy entry talking about how nobody is listening to me . . . and then LJ choked on it, ate it, and told me I had backdating problems. I tried to post a suggestion in the proper place suggesting that the developers have a new bml page for the results of a post (like they do with comments) so that nothing got eaten. Well, that got eaten. At that point I felt like the universe was against me . . . and that I wasn't paranoid, really nobody was listening. That was an insane moment.
