*phew*

Close call last weekend, when my sister called on Thursday and to say she was bringing her family to visit and would get there Friday night. Alas, they all have the flu. This made Mom positively giddy, and she decided that GODDAMMIT MONDAY WE WOULD GO SEE RETURN OF THE KING. So we did. I would just like to say, Hooray for this stuff!!! Though I'm afraid that Frodo and Sam were either a little too close to their MESPT selves, or not quite close enough ("Don't leave me, Mr Frodo!" "Shut your hole, you fat fuck!"), and I want to hit Elijah wood with a rock every time he makes his orgasm face. I don't think I was supposed to root for Gollum toward the end.

Movies would be better if there were more horse/elephant/flying lizard/ghost fights. I'm just saying.

Gandalf hitting Denethor with a stick was perhaps un-Tolkien-like, but something we all needed to see.

Gervaise accompanied us, and was his usual smug self. Little bastard.

Finally got to read The Tenant of Wildfell Hall.

Finished The Heckler and Dr Strange. Doc has the total dorky homemade look, but I don't fucking care at this point I'm fond of him in spite of that. Working on Captain Atom right now. Actually found silver foil stretch material, though it doesn't stretch that much and tends to run if you pull on it. Please enjoy my gratuitous swearing. Luke Cage is nearly done. His yellow shirt is deeply unfortunate, but I don't fucking care at this point I'm fond of him in spite of that. I guess.

I need to make some stuffies before MediaWest.

'Cause we wouldn't find the concept of puppet Angel funny and charming or like the episode at all.

Ok - well I didn't find it funny, charming, or like it at all. Could be just me, and I'm okay with that. :-)

I want to hit Elijah wood with a rock every time

And that's where I would've ended that sentence.
Though the "orgasm face" is added incentive.

Oh good, then I'm NOT totally mad. :)

Fortunately our theater is very LOUD, so I didn't have to try to explain my giggles.

There are three of these fucking movies.

And. I. Am. Not. In. Any. of. Them.

Someone get my agent on the horn, because it's time to turn loose a little whoop-ass.
