What was...
1. ...your first grade teacher's name?
Um. Um. Mrs Black. I think. I gave her a purple elephant made of glass and felt.

2. ...your favorite Saturday morning cartoon?
Jonny Quest. Which was actually on at night, back in the day. In black and white. Uphill, both ways, in the snow. Shut up.

3. ...the name of your very first best friend?
Tim Whitney from down at the end of the block. I named my first bear after him. The bear was in fact a rabbit with an ear-concealing headscarf. It took me many years to figure this out.

4. ...your favorite breakfast cereal?
King Vitamin, Quisp, Corn Pops, Sugar Crisp. Sugar Crisp is now "Super Golden Crisp," since sugar is bad. There's still sugar in it, mind you. Lots and lots of sugar. *vibrates* [ETA: [livejournal.com profile] hawkmoth rightly points out that Corn Pops used to be Sugar Pops.]

5. ...your favorite thing to do after school?
Watch Looney Tunes.

I had a b/w TV until I was almost twelve and moved to Sweden. I scare my friends with it.

I really liked B&W. Mine lived until I was 15 or 16. I miss it.

I can't name a single friend my age who had a b/w TV. They don't know what they were missing (um... like, blissful anawareness about the colours of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' headbands).

I wish I were completely unaware of the Turtles, with or without their colors.

Jonny Quest and Looney Tunes. Life is good.

Don't forget--Corn Pops were once Sugar Pops. Sugar Pop Pete: "Sugar Pops are tops!"

Quisp!!!! *bounce*

And our B&W TV was relegated to the basement with an Atari attached to it at some point, and I used to sneak Charlie's Angels on it. My parents didn't think it got any reception down there but if you tuned the rabbit ears just right, it would pull them in just well enough to watch.
