Today's "Ask the Pilot" is a delightful vignette about buying a notebook in Narito Airport in Tokyo. Airports, Japanese notebooks, and cash - that's three of my favorite things covered. (You'll have to click through an ad.)

ETA: [livejournal.com profile] danakate with her stupid correct spelling says it's actually 'Narita.' Stupid [livejournal.com profile] danakate.

Will you hurt me if I correct you and say it's Narita?

And Narita airport is very dangerous for buying notebooks. I almost bought a metric ton of notebooks and cute paper when last I was there.

I would not hurt you, no. Thank you.

Narita is my least favorite airport in the world. I'll even take the dirt landing strip with the three-thousand-foot dropoff at the end in Lukla over Narita, any old day.

As long as it's not Minneapolis, I can't hate an airport too much.
