Mom has given up on the Gollum action figure and retired him to the handle of the plush teacup I made her from the Aranzi-Aranzo pattern book.

Unfortunately, she has replaced him with a rubber cockroach she found in a drawer. She likes to affix it near light switches.

I hate her a lot right now.

I'm told JF codes have been done away with - and I've been all over trying to find the generate codes thing and it seems to be gone. I can't find how to start anything other than a paid account. If I can figure this out, then of course you absolutely can have one.

Anybody out there on JF who can tell me how to help la Prairie out?

Well, hell

Thanks--will look into paid account if the invite codes are in fact dead.

I seem to have read somewhere (but can't remember where) that free account creation was closed during the code upgrade, and the reason codes went away was because the new LJ software doesn't allow for codes. They were thinking about setting up an alternate system for account creation, but as far as I know it hasn't been set up yet.

It was on the system journal, IIRC. And ZR is still tinkering with the source code, so new account creation isn't up yet.

Kudos to Mrs Larimer. The one person who is too quick for you.
