If they made a Pinky Lady & Jeff one for the Mouse, she could go to her grave with a goofy grin on her face...

HO. LEE. CRAP!

I was just talking about one of those specials the other - how traumatized I still am by it.

I don't think Go Ask Alice was actually an ABC Afterschool special -- I think it was a made for tv movie but I'm reasonably certain it was on ABC. And starred William Shatner. :)

LOL I want Go Ask Alice anyway because of the cheese factor.

I wonder if they'll release those other ABC After school specials like the ones with Timer.

Ooooooooooooooooo, I hates that little fucker and his stupid toothpick-in-frozen-orange-juice-makin' ass. But yeah, there was a lot of animated stuff, and even a Gerry Anderson SF pilot.

I just remember loving the Timer stuff when I was a kid. No doubt I'd hate it now though -- I know there was other animated stuff, most of it was probably crap. I have NO memory of a Gerry Anderson pilot. Was it any good?

It was called "The Day After Tomorrow," about a family of 4 or 5 that goes on a space mission of some kind. I can't remember if it was intended as a long-term colonization thing or they just got lost...in space! I have no idea if it would be watchable now, even under 70s SF rules.

I have no memory of it all which means either I didn't see it or I completely supressed the memory which is equally as possible. Although I did watch Space: 1999 and survived so I guess if I did see it, it didn't kill me.

i'm actually having a hard time now remembering what any of mine looked like. (images? shininess? who knows?) or, even, if i ever even have one - Trapper Keepers might've been one of those things that i reallyreallyreally wanted but that my parents convinced me i didn't truly need.

not that i have any idea what you're talking about or anything.

Pretty good (B&N had it on sale). Unfortunately it weighs a friggin' ton, so I can only read it in bed or at the dining-room table. Sort of Mo Rocca and the Order of the Phoenix.

IIRC, the cheap plastic ring binding guaranteed that the traps would all fall out if you dropped it.

I wonder if they kept all the goofy '70s commercials.

Weren't those specials scarringly awful though?

Not to mention Quarterback Princess.

I want the Schoolhouse Rock collection first, though. "We the people...."
