Millennium season 2 comes out on DVD on January 4, 2005. I cannot pimp this enough, even with all my proportional pimping abilities of a much bigger pimp. This was the season run by the Wongs, with Darin Morgan as wingman. You get "Anamnesis" (aka the one with Patti Smith and the Black Virgin), "Goodbye Charlie" (the one with Steven Kiley, serial killer), "Room with No View" (the one with "Love is Blue" playing forever), "The Curse of Frank Black," (the tribute to Buster Keaton), and Darin Morgan's crazy-ape batshit "José Chung's 'Doomsday Defense,'" which kicks ass, takes names, takes the list of names, eats it, digs a grave, and then craps the remains of the names into it. You also get the terrible death of the Hallmark Family, Darren McGavin as Frank's Dad, neat tricks with cheesy 70s pop music, and what would have been the end of the world had Fox not unexpectedly shelled out for a third season.
"Great coffee..."
