Thanks, Boston. This is what comes of reckless curse-breaking.

I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY!

To paraphrase someone on Slashdot, between Boston winning and King George getting re-elected, I can't wait to see what the other two horsemen come as...

Apparently, it worked on football, too...

For as long as they have been keeping track, the Washington Redskins have been predicting the successful candidate by either winning or losing on the last day they play before election day. If they won, the incumbent (or his party's candidate) would win. If they lost, the opposite occurred. So when they were losers on Sunday there was great rejoicing among the Democratic sports enthusiasts.

Seems the Red Sox broke that string, too.

In a press conference before the series the Sox called themselves 'a bunch of idiots'. I think it is obvious why I point this out. On the behalf of my entire state, I would like to apologize.

Maybe the lunar eclipse threw a monkeywrench into the spokes, although I have a hard time believing the Goddess is that cruel. Anyway, Get Fuzzy has been having a series on this that's wonderfully high on the goofballs.

I've got cursing in bulk, hoo boy...

Hello Darling!
I'm so glad you came to visit. I was thinking about you today - I am making my sister a plushie for Christmas (Don't tell her. It's a surprise.). Also I got a teeny book about how to repair old plushies, so I think I can finally fix my friends Brown Bear and White Bear, who got all stinky when I was little and must live in exile on a bar stool in the library. If I do, I will send you their picture looking all new and clean.
Love,
Ann
