After a month or so, I've gone back to my old dosage of Zoloft. I had an easier time staying awake, but the underlying current of terror just wasn't worth it. I suppose I can learn to read sitting up.

Much stuffage with the change of weather. I am making my sister a Raggedy Ann for Christmas. Since she likes R. Ann, and I have no money, it seemed like a good idea. Sadly, I have a mild horror of yarn, so her hair is (so far) made of pearl cotton, felt shreds, seam binding tape, ribbon, and robe velour. Good one, Ann. You just keep on having those little brainwaves.

I got a small book on restoring teddys, and may be able to rescue Brown Bear and White Bear from their years of stinky exile, by removing their stuffing, putting their skins through the ways, and re-stuffing them. They were made circa 1970, and so should stand up to Mr Maytag reasonably well.

I also repaired the gaping holes in and re-attached the tail of the ancient, rubber-faced Whiffer Skunk. Whiffer Skunk is in fact a possum, but since I inherited her from my siblings, I am not to blame for her monicker. Mom immediately seized her and gave her pride of place on her bed. Well okay.

*pats Ann*

So, what are you at now, dosagewise?

*jumps on you*

Where have you been?

Two of the cream-colored guys. There's probably some sort of specific measurement associated with them. I don't know what that is.

I've been wondering... I don't have much money, but I'd love a small Nightwing plushie...

Oh, man. I'm totally backed up - it'd take you forever to get it. BUT! I can help you make your own. Animated Nightwing would be totally easy, and look lovely in black robe velour.

Wait...BUT! again, didn't they make Nightwings to coincide with the last Batman series? I vaguely remember a biggish one in the action figure aisle, and I think he was also part of the DC beanbag toy series from the Warner Store.

I've poked around, and no such luck... but I have some vestige of sewing ability, so I would very muchly appreciate it if you could help me out on that front. Hoping to make a couple, one for me, one for a friend. ^_^

I've been looking all morning, but can't find evidence of a Nightwing plush or beanie. Maybe I'm thinking of the 12" animated Nightwing.

Yeah. Mine makes me sleepy too, but I find that preferable to drowning in despair.

I wish I knew what to do about an old stuffed doggie from way back. He's threadbare but I loved him muchly as a child and so can't bear to part with him. I also need my old childhood Pooh bear restuffed - his face is flat and he has no neck strength. Poor Pooh!

Watch this space. We'll see how the bears turn out, and you can learn from my success or failure.

I had a Raggedy Ann and Andy as a kid. My oldest sister got some sort of Johnny Gruel obsession and decided I needed them. She also gave me a bunch of the R.Ann books.

Currently, I think mom has possion of books and dolls.

I've never read the books, and my own Raggedy is only a few years old. She's dressed in a black jumpsuit with a glow skeleton on it and has beads and ribbons woven into her hair.

I had to stop taking Celexa for that reason. Was driving one afternoon and started nodding off into the steering wheel.

I was never in danger of anything like that. I just spent all my free time napping.
