White Bear's insides were much nicer than Brown's, and considerably whiter than his outsides. He took to washing with minial trauma, and only needed a bag of stuffing. However, unlike Brown, he still has most of his fur, and it has never, ever been brushed. I've only got a third of his coat up to snuff, and my wrist hurts. Oh, sigh.

Nah. If I'd waited to take the before pictures, the bears'd still be down in the basement.

I had the good luck to find a complicated sew your own psychadelic giraffe kit, unused in packet from the late 60s/early 70s, in a charity shop quite recently, and I'm going to begin sewing her for Christmas soon, because these posts inspire me!
