Note to self: When watching House with 82-year-old, try not to refer to guest character's annoying mother as "a total cunt."

Did 82-year-old have syphilis? 'Cause it sounds like a lot of fun!

To the best of my knowledge, no. But it would explain a few things.

Um, you must have missed something, 'cause, yeah, her diagnosis was syphilis. She had gotten it like about 60-odd years ago, it was treated but supressed not cured. So now in her golden years, it re-appeared. Making her hot-to-trot.

Nono, the 82-year-old I live with. Tiny prickly woman. Claims to be free of STDs.

Oh, great, now I have to wipe my monitor.

(I thought the guest character's son was much more annoying.)

Have I mentioned how much I love House?

Did the son do anything more than lie there and twitch?

Um, you know, I thought for some reason I thought you were talking about the 80-something woman who had the hots for House. Why, I don't know. She was fun. Her son, however was an ass.

The other guest mom was a cunt.

She reminded me of this particular type of consultant that I always end up working with, and always want to kill with a large refill bottle of Liquid Paper.

The mother of the teenager? That actress was a couple of years ahead of Mike in high school.

I dozed off towards the end--the kid was poisoned by pants?

The girls went on a Black Adder binge yesterday. I had to wonder--there must be bunches of people enamored with House who know little or nothing of Hugh's previous roles, and have never experienced the especial joy of seeing him as Prince Ludwig the Indestructible.

Baaaa...

Also--I would pay good money to see Stephen do a guestshot on House.

Poisoned by pesticide from purchasing purloined pants, yes.

Maybe we can start a Web site with handy tips. "Do not spray the kitchen with burning shrapnel." "Try not to say 'cunt' so much."

That actress *always* seems to play annoying characters. She was an irritating whiner as Adam Arkin's wife in Chicago Hope's first two seasons, as well. (I liked Chicago Hope the first season. The Mandy Patinkin season.)

Roxanne Hart. Mike had a huge crush on her when she was a senior and he was a lowly freshman. (And actor Jay O. Sanders was in Mike's class.)
