MediaWest Sketchbook Ought-Five

One nice thing about sitting around watching DVDs, on endless lines, in a five-hour art auction, or listening to Sharon talk about the current administration: You've got to do something with your hands besides hold a drink in them. Well, I do. My alcohol tolerance is very low, and my choice of booze this year very poor. (That Beer Sharon Got -- decent taste, high alcohol content. Bottled Kahlua Mudslide -- lost its charm, now tastes like Yoo-Hoo and vodka. Guinness -- sentimental attachment because it's mauftarkie's favorite, lovely texture and smell, tastes like diet root beer and baby aspirin.) Also, we bought colored pencils at Meijers, and they had to be used, or it would've been a waste of three whole dollars.

I only get to drink once or twice a year, since I usually have to drive. Which is okay, since I don't like the stuff much. I like wussie white wine coolers. I digs the Irish coffee when I can get it. And Sharon once gave me a Perfect Beer, the name of which she has never been able to remember since. I hate her so much.

My Dad and sister once got totally wasted on White Russians at a country club dinner. Coincidentally, we stopped going out to eat there at approximately the same time.

That's why we live smack in the middle of the city. True, sometimes, I have to shoo sleepy drunks off my front lawn, and pedestrians appear think it's good form to leave moist Dick's Drive-In wrappers in the shrubbery, but, dammit, we can drink like a BUNCH O' CANADIANS!! Yee-haw!
