The second issue of the new Supergirl series came out last week. SG visits the Kent family farm in Kansas and, for reasons the author doesn't make terribly clear, gets in a fight with the current incarnation of the Teen Titans. Raven does that thing where she engulfs SG in her birdy cloaky thing, which does not end well for either of them. This leads Supergirl to ask the immortal question...

Why do you torture yourself reading that crap?

Read Legion of Super Heroes. Much better.

A. The first issue was actually quite good.

B. Fuck that. They'll only bloody reboot it bloody again and any character I care about will be evaporated.

The first issue was a travesty. The JSA can mop the floor with Solomon Grundy on their worst day. They don't need any assistance from some snot nosed bare-bellied blonde.

We've already got a snot nosed blonde, and her bareness is in the RIGHT area. :)

Apparently there was some sort of special grown-up lady circus.

I have tried considering that sentence from all possible angles, but my mind keeps constructing these filthy mental images.

Whereas I am sure that you meant something perfectly innocent. Yes.
