Oh, wow! Thank you. I like the deep red cape, and the pale blue eyes.

There is probably a way to make scanners not eat pale shading, but I haven't found it yet.

How do you like Copics? Is it worth the tsuris of mail order, etc.? I do like the idea of markers that one can keep consistently juiced.

:D The deep red and pale blue are my two fav colors at the moment. I love coloring "cold-blooded assassin" eyes with the the blue, and the red is just purty.

And I love my copics to death. They really aren't for shading in tiny little details though, since they bleed like nobody's business. (they managed to bleed through the supposed bleeding-proof marker paper that I bought today, so they can be determined little buggers)

But the great thing is that, even though I'm still getting the hang of it, you can get a great range of shades from one marker just from saturating the paper to different degrees (you can kind that I tried to do it with PG's legs. Like I said, I'm getting the hang of it) So even if you have a limited range of colors, you can still do a lot.

I love the softness overall that copics give to the colors, like a pleasant mix between watercolors and markers. And they generally are safe to use with most ink that I've found, although some of the lightest colors sometimes will cause the ink to mix a little with certain pens. :/

I haven't had much experience ordering through their site though, since my first set was a birthday gift, and I can get individual markers from J-town. :)
