New glasses. Regular seein' glasses have a Kiefer Sutherland in Dark City vibe. Sunglasses are black and pointy. New prescription + smaller lenses mean that I can both see the curvature of the earth and read your DNA by looking at you. Going down stairs and driving around curves have gained a dreamlike quality, as though it's all happening to someone else. I like it when my accessories fit my lifestyle.

I get annoyed when I'm trying to navigate with the smaller glasses on, but I confess it IS fun to entertain myself by trying to make the "two of everything" thingy at the glasses' edge merge into one. I also like trying to make the fuzzy finger point at things in the clear field of vision and make the clear finger point at things in the fuzzy field of vision.

Nothing ever compares to the feeling of new glasses. It's like aliens have stolen and replaced your eyeballs.
