Yesterday I spent three hours in a classroom, learning how to do PowerPoint. It was raw excitement. Like Showtime.

Thoroughly fed up with disgusting, cheap-ass Toastmaster coffee maker. On brother's recommendation, have purchased a coffee press. This should be entertaining.

Quite a dull little existence at the moment, really.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: I bought a half-pound of coarse-ground (recommended for French presses) coffee at Starbucks.

EVEN MORE IMPORTANT UPDATE: I put it in my bag to take home.

I bought a French press coffee maker thingee recently. I think it's cute. Except for the teeny tiny sediment that is not caught by the filter and left at the bottom of my cup so I don't drink it all any more. Otherwise, I have a Braun drip machine that works really well. How's your coffee?

Haven't tried it yet, since I brought it home last night at 8:00. I should go ask the nice folks at Starbuck's for some coarse-ground decaf. Otherwise, it gets a workout on Saturday morning.

My icon is scarier than your icon.

The instructions say to watch out for spouts of scalding water. I can't wait!

Coffee and Powerpoint. Now, that's my idea of a great work-day.

Our coffee pot has entered the realm of the hopelessly goat-fucked. You know, the supposedly top-of-the-line kind? Kitchenaid timer-self-grinding-dripping kind? WITH THE STUNTED PLASTIC?

I'm sorry. Sorry. I'll go now.

I can't remember. He said its sticker had been upgraded from MEDIUM to STRONG, but that it was still really MEDIUM and was great in a French press. It wasn't French, Vienna, or Breakfast Blend. It might be made from squirrels.
