Chara design development. Trying to come up with a face for Lord Voldemort as he appears at the end of Goblet of Fire, something reptilian and foetus-y that's still, y'know, alarming. First two he looked too much like a Grey, and not a particularly menacing one at that. Third is a little better. Fourth got the snakey face, I think. We'll see if it comes in useful for anything.

There's nothing more fun than venturing out onto the patio at 11:00 p.m. in your jammies with a sketchbook and a spray can of fixative. But at least if any boogeypersons are lurking about, you can spray the sumbitches right in the eyes.

I always pictured him either as looking kind of like Jafar from Disney's Aladdin or like the fruity alien bad emperor guy in that really classic goofy old sci-fi movie with the eyebrows and the goatee, argh, what's his name and what's that movie's name? Gaaah...

Or, he could alternately look like the elders from the syndicate in Cowboy Bebop, I fink... but more like evil fruity alien guy/Jafar.

He changes. During his original reign of terror he's still Tom Riddle, and human (and the Jafar thing could work well), then after killing James and Lily he's got no body at all and goes around possessing small woodland animals. Then he gains a body, but it's a horrible helpless fetus-y thing, and at the end of Goblet of Fire he's an adult again, with serpent eyes and a face that doesn't look like it's quite finished.

I would've thought by now that everyone who have read at least one book would have read them all. And since it clearly says in the forth book that which Ann has already mention of what Voldenmort looks like, it really isn't spoiler-like anymore. Besides, if one happens to be currently reading the books, the internet is the worst place to look at stuff that's non-spoiler stuff anyway. It just doesn't exist, and if it did, it be pretty dumb.

I like the eyes on number 4. He looks too darned pleased with himself, though. ;)

Well, he would be.

I have a terrible time, in my head, not making Voldie sound like Baron Greeback from Dangermouse.

Me too. #1 might work in a humor pic, though...

I think he looks too feminine. What if you made the eyes smaller?

DANGERMOUSE!!!! I loved that show.
