I'll have to watch for the mysteriously materializing Green Man next time out. Oh, and LaBute can suck it.

AFAIK the only way to see the semi-restored, 99-minute version is this limited edition in the coffin-like wooden box--which is, of course, out of print (say the word and I'll bring it along in October, plus you can point and laugh when I get chicken at the ending). Any version that says it's 88 minutes long is the chopped-to-ribbons one.

Nuts. I had a feeling it would be the bazillion dollar one.

I'd love it if you bring it along. I'd threaten to retaliate with The Vanishing, but I'm still scared to ever watch it again.

Ohhhhh no--I know what happens at the end and I'd freak. Ringu, maybe?

Also Ju-On and Dark Water, but haven't watched them yet.

When I was a more active Wiccan, the coven I sometimes hung with used to show that every year at Beltane. Nothing like MSTing with a roomfull of slightly tipsy pagans.

Can I say how much I love the phrase, "the coven I sometimes hung with"? 'Cause I totally do.

Thanks! That's one of my favvvorite movies ever. I also have the limited edition wooden box onbe. I thought about selling it when I saw how much it was going for, but I really just love the film too much to do that!

I was talking to a friend of mine, and we both remember watching it as 8 or 9 year-old kids and being scared shitless by it. Which made rewatching it all the more bizarre as I had no memory of it being a musical at all.
