I will probably regret asking this, but what are automobile testicles?

They are (plastic?) testicles, hung off the inside back bumper of a car, usually a pickup. They are free-swinging, in the Newtonian sense, carrying on using the car's momentum even when the vehicle has stopped at a light.

The pink ones have a disturbing shaved quality.

They may, in fact, be available in fleshtones other than McWhitey, but I live in Caucasialandville.

o__O

I guess this alleviates the need to find a big enough harness to just strap the car between their legs.

Ewww...

I saw my first set of these this weekend while driving around town -- disturbingly freaky! Looked like two plastic easter eggs filled with sand, stuffed into pinkish plastic bag.

Ick.

I will say here what I said in my own journal a few days ago, because you've missed another horrible option.

In traffic the other morning I saw a truck with blue balls on the trailer hitch. I would just like to comment that while truck balls are a stupid idea to begin with, what the hell is the idea behind having blue ones? It implies that your truck may very well run a long time but it's never actaully going to get anywhere good.

OK. You totally made me get up and run into the other room to spit out a perfectly decent mouthful of wine.

While I have yet to see those parts in these here parts, when I was in Ft. Lauderdale in June, I saw many a pickup with 'em swinging free and breezy, as it were. My friend PT had to be convinced that they were not some sort of a mirage, then refused to believe that someone would so intentionally bedeck (be-ball?) their vehicle.

She's just too much of a lady for this crude world, is what I say.

But then again, so am I.

Dangling automobile testicles?

::boggles::

These have not yet made it to NJ, so far as I know. Thank god.
