Do you mean the Tick's Mole Queen, Mindy Moleford? Because she does look like Mindy!

It's great that someone related to the comics industry is going after a female demographic for once! I think we're going to carry these in our store.

I was just using it as a metaphor, but you're right, she does.

I missed that when I saw the article earlier. Oooooh. I wonder if she'll look like Yvonne Craig. No, seriously. Yvonne-as-Barbara-Gordon would be the ginchiest.

That would be swell. I've only seen one or two custom Megos of her.

*nods* I'm not that well versed on comic canon Barbara (I know, blasphemy). Plus it would just be cool. That and a Julie-Newmar-Catwoman. (No, I don't need/want an Adam West or a Burt Ward)

I'd just like a Catwoman with decent articulation, and that doesn't look like Halle Berry.

I'd actually like an Adam and Burt, instead of the angry musclebound versions we always get. I like my heroes less sociopathic.

That too. Mattel did do a Diamond Comic exclusive Catwoman about 2-3 years which was gorgeous. I'm not sure which version of the character she was though. They were going to do a Batman/Catwoman gift set for one of the stores but that fell through.

Heh, it would be pretty funny if they did the 1960s tv show versions just for the fun of it. Potbellied Bruce Wayne and pissy little Dick Grayson would rock.

Oh, yeah -- she was cool. She had the 60s evening gown outfit, didn't she?

How are these not just expensive Barbies?

No, seriously, I don't get it :(.

Pros: Larger (16" as opposed to Babs' 11.5"), better body construction and articulation, better hair, better face paint, better-made clothes, and as a rule don't have that I've-just-been-hit-in-the-back-of-the-head-with-a-cricket-bat expression, not wearing that stupid midriff outfit.

Cons: Expensive, can have cold expressions, you have to deal with FAO fucking Schwarz. Disappointing lack of glitter.

Sort of the difference between Captain Action and a Takara Batman.

I want to get the Supergirl just so I can steal her costume and put it on my unoa, but it would probably just be better for my wallet to commission someone to make one instead. :|
