Is anybody else disappointed that the song on the "OMG GREATEST SONGS EVAH!!! :)" mix CD wasn't Spike Jones doing "Cocktails for Two?"

Just me then.

"Hello Muddah Hello Faddah" would also have been acceptable.

Yesyesyesyesyesyesyes!

I grew up with "Spike Jones demonstates your Hi-Fi". It warped me for life.

"Raines" was kinda....nothing. I won't say disappointing because I didn't have high expectations. Predictable, too. Who didn't figure out his partner was dead almost immediately? And the inevitably comments about him talking to himself. Also, is it just me or did it not make sense that the dead girl didn't just tell him, "oh, so-and-so killed me". I guess that would shorten the ep by about 45 minutes.

Best line was the one about "oh, sure who doesn't accuse some one of molesting their kid. Want some coffee." Or something like that. Can't remember the exact wording.

Yay Johnny Fever!!

Er...I totally didn't figure out the guy was dead. But I'd just watched Supernatural, and that always drops my I.Q. about ten points.

Dead girl couldn't tell him who killed her, because she was entirely imaginary. That was why she changed whenever he learned something new about her. Sort of like the way Tommy deflects when I ask her what the Obitsu factory was like. "Ahh. The factory. What can I say?" "I DON'T KNOW BECAUSE YOU NEVER ANSWER ME!"

*sporfle* Maybe that's why I knew. But then, I figured out that the chick in Supernatural was a ghost early on too.

Okay, my bad. But then, I was also trying to do the dishes and fix lunch for the next day while watching the show. But, are you sure she was just imaginary? I mean she did want him to give the money to her mom. Or maybe he was just reading into the situation. I'll give Goldblum (or the director) credit: he didn't over play the role, thankfully.

I didn't figure out Supernatural chick was dead until about halfway through, because I always fall for that crap. I only clued in because I couldn't figure out why they'd offed Winston Rekert so early in the show.

Nah, he learned/deduced at some point that that was what she was squirreling away the money for. "Chester" wasn't a molester, but he was most definitely a beater.

I think that, if we work together, we are smart enough to watch network television.
