The mention of Mr Funky's Super Crochet Wonderful a few days back sparked a lot of interest, so here are some more Japanese crochet books, coming soon to an Amazon near you:

(Does not appear to be actually Japanese, and loses points for having "kooky" and "wacky" in the title. But it shows you how to crochet a Lucha mask, so what the hell.)

eBay is full of Japanese crochet books, including specialty titles on Sanrio, Disney, Hamtaro, and other characters (Anpanman, anyone?). However, I haven't the faintest idea of whether they're as easy to follow as the regular plushie and mascot books are.

There are also titles that teach you how to make tiny Sanrio and Disney charms from strung beads, and they look just the sort of thing to induce a serious 'sode.

I'm gonna have to learn to crochet, aren't I? Bastards. Bastard cunt rat bastardy bastards.

Yes, thanks!

Hmm, are you using IE? Cause even when I look at it in your style, that first link is going on forever. Maybe it's a Firefox thing.

It's got a little e in the corner, so I'm guessing yes.
