Sailor Venus and her pal, Artemis. Artemis is a boy kitty, but has learned to cope.

Hee hee! Venus' face has good expression; it's Barbie-like, yet it's so Minako...

I can't get the Sailormoon eyes at all. They look goony (as is evident here) when I try. Then I realized, hell, that's one of the reasons I like anime in the first place, so I might as well go with it.

::stares:: I really like this! I love how you make the lines so thick when you ink pictures. It makes it all so.... can't explain it. Very nice.

What type of marker/pen do you use when inking?

Oh golly...I actuall had a hard time inking this one 'cause there's some kind of vortex in our house this week that keeps eating my pens. I usually use a combination of black brush pen and black gel fineline. For the final ink on this picture, I went over everything with a Zebra Antique Mahogany pen to warm the picture up - plain black was too cold.

The thick-and-thin thing is total Mucha rip-off, though this lacks his delicacy and it would make him giggle if he weren't, y'know, dead.

I would be honored, ma'am or sir. I have conveyed your greeting to my paints, and they said to tell you that they love you back. Except for the ochre, which is kind of stand-offish - but that's just its way, so don't take offense.
