I should mention I haven't posted much lately that isn't fic or pics, because, really, nothing much has happened. I read a lot, but then so do you. There's bugger all on television. Extended Daylight Savings Time means I wake up in the dark, which I don't much care for, but if you're a Notramericano, odds are, neither do you.

I recently got a 5 year certificate from where I work. (We're academics, so no mugs or pins or anything that could look like it cost more than like 5 cents.) I was like, wha'? I've been here 5 years? I haven't been ANYWHERE 5 years.

The great thing about these mugs is that the printing is always in metallic gold. So you can't put them in the microwave. Which means, basically, that you can't use them at work.

We're bureaucrats, not rocket scientists.
