I actually had a bid in on a Pope stamp, but somebody else got it. Actually I think it was whichever saint had a lion as his symbol, but they're stamp dealers, not historians.
These are bloody gorgeous pages: are they meant to be written on in the white spaces? I'd be afraid to write on them in anything but my artsy-est handwriting.
Ohh, very pretty! Lovely swirls, and is that a mouse with a crown? I've always liked stamps and have a few, though they tend to sit sadly neglected in my crafts bin because I can never think of anything to do with them.
