Me too.

I used to mess around with Tarot cards ages ago. Completely useless when it came to actual predictions, great at convincingly fake ones. And helping when I was stuck on a story (these days I generally ramble on other people's livejournals).

Oh, they're totally bogus. But if I were the sort of person who could do it (a) with a clear conscience and (b) without laughing, I could probably make a nice living as a card reader. But I'm not. Dammit.

The Vertigo deck is lovely, however. I sold my Giant Size X-Men #1 to pay for the first version, and have never regretted it.

Same here. I played with them in high school, and discovered that if I put on the predictive manner, people tend to believe me.

And like I said, doing a card reading for characters is a great way to deal when I'm stuck on a story. Because either it's applicable, which gives me a hint, or I can come up with a specific reason why it isn't, which also gives me a hint.

And I'll be the art is awesome.

I'm really only interested in the art. Otherwise bogus as Ann says. But Ann does some of the most amazing bogus readings ever....until one of us breaks down in giggles.

Heee. Your eyes were HUGE.

If only we hadn't had that lame-ass Alice in Wonderland deck. It really killed the mood.
