Boobs are like software, right? Abstract commodities which people create and can either sell or give away to people who want to make use of them, yes? Not actually parts of a human being or anything inconvenient like that.

I've been reading various links all day because apparently I am just that masochistic, and now I have this desperate urge to put on lots and lots and lots of extra shirts. And every bra I own. There is not enough D: D: D: in the world.

What makes me sad is that if I had read this without context/other people's comments, I'd probably have thought "Oh, geekboys, you fail at life yet again" and kept right on moving. I'm that desensitized to this shit. Pathetic.

That said, if anyone said that to me in RL, they'd be immediately inducted into the "let me squeeze your nuts until you're howling in pain" club. I have very, very strong hands.

I did like his update where he basically said, "Well, it WAS a good and pure idea when WE did it, but no, no, no one else should do this because you'll just fuck it up."

Classy.

Hmmm. A guy tried that with me once. I was 16, and of course he didn't ask first, and we were in an elevator at school. And he was 40-ish. And he got a bit of a kiss in with the boob grab.

I broke his left leg.

I think this is an appropriate response for all women faced with this kind of situation, and if it happens to me at a con, I will quite happily do something along those lines. Because I am a violent, non-fun-loving, non-understanding, non-enlightened bitch, and furthermore I know how to break someone's leg without much effort. So tally-ho!

I'm kinda thinking you could give workshops on the leg-breaking at a con. XD

but but but he's just trying to make the world a better place (for lonely, desperate, poorly socialized nerds)! If you don't want your bewbs grabbed you can opt out by wearing this lovely red badge of shame button. Because you need a button to tell total strangers you might not want your boobs grabbed.

Yeah, I had been reading references to this all day yesterday. Boy, way to live up to the creepy fanboy stereotype.

Just FYI, if [livejournal.com profile] theferret ever gets with in striking distance of me, let me know so I can initiate him into the Open Source Kick 'Em in the Nads Project.

Thank deity I'm the type of woman they'd most likely never come up to. Maybe I'll go in extra ugly mode to a con and follow them around asking if I can randomly fondle them.

Now, how long does one customarily go without washing to properly duplicate that eau de congeek?

I don't really know what the process is. It's not like anything human. They may be mushroom people.
