The curtains are patterned paper, cut to fit and pasted down. Grey marker for outside the spotlight, white Prismacolor for glare spots inside the spotlight. Easy-peasy!

This is unbearably cute. And even if you used paper for the roses, what you did with it is still VERY impressive. Since I've seen your sketchbooks and knew you use paper sometimes, I spent a lot of time trying to figure out if you'd drawn the whole thing or used paper for the curtains before I read the comments, and I decided it didn't matter, 'cuz the spotlight/glare effect is incredible, and that *couldn't* have been the paper.
