Date: 2008-05-07 02:00 am (UTC)At least on my computer, it seems to have color-corrected to save itself, but this one crossed with 'Brightly Burning' is what I think of when I think Lackey. That and that one Subway commercial with all the emaciated models talking about the 'hunger inside' and the one guy saying "maybe you should try and EAT SOMETHING.'
Lackey was highly enjoyable when I was 13, I can't deny that.

It's not just Lackey. Pretty much any fantasy novel with a white horse displayed prominently on the cover, I will avoid. But it was Lackey who started me recoiling from such books.
