"It's a helicopter, and it's coming this way. It's flying something behind it, I can't quite make it out, it's a large banner and it says, uh - Happy... Thaaaaanksss... giving! ... From ... W ... K ... R... P!! No parachutes yet. Can't be skydivers... I can't tell just yet what they are, but - Oh my God, Johnny, they're turkeys!! Johnny, can you get this? Oh, they're plunging to the earth right in front of our eyes! One just went through the windshield of a parked car! Oh, the humanity! The turkeys are hitting the ground like sacks of wet cement! Not since the Hindenburg tragedy has there been anything like this!"

HEE! Keith Olbermann showed a bit of this last night during his bit on the video of Sarah Palin chatting away in front of the Turkey Murder Machine.

Oh, the nostalgia! :-) I should really get WKRP on DVD, even if it has been sadly crippled by the music changes.

Ah, what a great Turkey Day memory. They played parts of the episode on Keith Olbermann last night, during a segment mocking the ever-creepy and ridiculous Sarah Palin (who was standing *the entire time* in from of a turkey-slaughtering machine, breezily unconcerned with anything but herself and her photo-op. I'm sure she thought it was cool. She probably wished she coul;d use the turkeys for target practice).

Oh...oh...thank you for making me completely incoherent at work for about ten minutes there!

Ghod that is such a fantastic skit; I still remember when it first aired, my whole family was on the floor in hysterics.

Thanks for the memories. *gasps for air*
