You may have the best fluff on the internet. And more of Nicholas's mum! Nicholas can be hideously embarrassed, and Danny can be laughing, and then Nicholas could say something slightly melodramatic about having a horribly scary family that would make any remotely sane person flee in terror, and Danny could go "At least your mum never took you hostage." At which point Nicholas is obliged to either cuddle Danny and admit that the parental situation could be worse, or talk about That One Christmas They Don't Speak Of.
