$1,450 to fix & complete a root canal done on a tooth that was poorly root-canal'd 10 years ago. I have the blank check in front of me and the envelope with the endodontist's address on it, but I cannot make myself fill in the numbers.

At various times, I broke the computer at work (IT had to fix it), the temperature control on an RI detector (eventually it started working again on its own), Facebook (started working again the next morning) and the SEC-MALS pump (Metrology will have to fix it.)

At least I didn't have to pay for any of those repairs, though.

Oh, yeah, I also knocked off some scabs I kinda wanted to keep. Ow.

But otherwise, it's been a wonderful week! I even got a free lunch! (Except that I did a survey for it. But it was otherwise free!)

Ack.

Um. You're helping the economy? Which you'd rather have done by spending $500 on Amazon, I'm sure

Christ krispies, woman! That is all FUBAR'd up and then some. *sends sammiches, milk (or soda), and brownies for afters* (It's more fun to play in the fort with your buds with snacks)

Sharing the woe - we had 2 vans. In the course of about 6wks, both got stolen. One of them twice.

A fella I knew once had a phrase for situations like this. It was, "Anal rape with a Garden Weasel."
