Managed to overshoot my stop by half a mile (don't ask). Did you know dogs go apeshit at the sound of a wheelie backpack on asphalt? Neither did I!

Meanwhile, the failcake tastes funny and will probably go to the squirrels.

I am sorry to hear about the failcake tasting funny. It's one thing to have it come out of the bundt pan in pieces; it's another thing entirely if it fails on both looks & taste. This looks funny but tastes good:

5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE

4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
a small splash of vanilla extract
1 large coffee mug ("Large" as in a nice, big coffee mug, not a coffee cup.)

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly.

Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again.

Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts. The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.

Ooooooo. I should try this.

Do I have flour?

Does flour expire?

Dunno. Is your homeowner's insurance paid up?

Flour has oil in it, and oil goes rancid eventually!

If you do try it, don't try to go healthy, like by using whole wheat flour or substituting honey or applesauce for sugar. This is like a magic trick, it all has to fall into place to get to a place of carby goodness. My biggest problem is that I don't know the wattage of my microwave, but it seems like 3 minutes and 15 seconds works better for me.

Isn't failcake supposed to taste funny? That's the taste of fail, right? Um... was that squirrel already that particular color of puce?

Wheelie backpack? o0

A backpack, with wheels on the bottom and an extendable tow handle. My parking space is five blocks from my office, so the wheels are handy.

YES! I've seen those! Didn't make the connection.
Yikes, 5 blocks? Yeah, I'd say wheels and a handle would be danged useful!

Considering the number of books and bottles of milk/soda I tote around, yes.

I predict explosions. Or giant squirrels. Or a bus full or giant exploding squirrels.

Can we have a rain of frogs, too? You just don't get those often enough. Any excuse, right?

Ann, are you remembering to bring along your chainsaw? I know these things. I take public transport each and every day.

Probably why she needs the wheelie backpack. Chainsaws are kinda bulky.

Will there be a commemorative action figure? I envision an 8" scale Public Transport Ann, equipped with wheelie bag-mounted chainsaw, exploding squirrels and apeshit dogs. Plus, kung fu grip. (Overshooting bus sold separately.)
