Click to embiggen. Apologies for crappy phonecam pics.

Embroidered on pancake mix bag, mostly variegated thread. I stabbed myself but good in the finger at one point, but the bloodstain is hidden under the Arctic Ocean.

Are the words printed or embroidered? I've always been crap at embroidering words.

Lovely image, nicely embroidered!

Printed. They're part of the text on the bag. I'm doing another one that's gonna be a frozen mammoth.

I love it! The texture on the bear is great.

I think I could probably be cloned from some of my childhood cross-stitches.

I don't remember ever sticking myself as a child, but then I did more needlepoint, and the needles aren't as sharp.

This ended the day I was changing yarn, stuck the needle in the rug I was sitting on, moved, and somehow got the tapestry needle through my kneecap. Backwards.

It didn't hurt, or even bleed, but pulling the thing out again was a bit of a struggle.

I really, really, really want to figure out a good way to use those words in a story, in a radically different context.
